Manufacturing Process

U.S. GROWN COTTON FROM THE CAROLINAS

Made from US-grown cotton, fibers are spun into our 18/ yarn at factories in South Carolina by the most efficient yarn spinning operations in the world. The use of advanced automation in this process gives made in U.S.A a competitive edge over offshore options.

KNITTING

The yarns are brought from the Carolinas to South Central, Los Angeles (typically by rail) to be knit into our signature tubular jersey at our knitting facility on 61st street.

CUTTING

We use a state-of the art automated cutting machine for most of our 1801 t-shirts. This hydraulic machine can cut up to t-shirts every 1.8 seconds. Using automation allows us to sustain higher wages while having fair prices to our clients. and ensures consistency.

SEWING

After cutting, the t-shirts are sewn and assembled on 59th street. We have one of the most efficient t-shirt production operations in the world. Our highly trained workers often have over 20 years of experience and earn fair wages up to $25 per hour plus benefits and overtime.

Dyeing

After the garment is fully sewn they are garment dyed and enzyme washed at local dye houses in the South Central and adjacent area. California is subject to some of the most stringent environmental protection standards in the country– ensuring an environmentally-friendly product.
