Each piece is "Fully Fashioned," a process where the garment is shaped stitch-by-stitch, similar to hand knitting, but using advanced knitting machines. This technique eliminates waste by ensuring no extra fabric is used. Skilled operators link each piece by hand—a rare, dying art.
Producing in L.A. has its challenges, from higher rents to labor costs, but it allows us to preserve the craft of fully fashioned knitting. By purchasing this piece, you help sustain this tradition and support local artisans.
