We took inspiration from garments worn by ancient civilizations throughout the world in developing the Universal Tunic. Tunic-like garments made of linen and other natural materials are represented in the relics of Ancient Egypt, Mesoamerica, Ancient Rome, the Middle East, and Asia. Today, this silhouette is still commonly worn by women of indigenous communities in Mexico.
Woven from the flax plant, linen is a light, strong, and flexible fabric; it is especially appropriate for warm weather and only gets softer with wear. This item is garment dyed to remain shrink free and fade resistant for years to come.
