When AA had its close out sale in 2017, I wanted to take advantage of it, and I needed shoes that I could walk in and that fit my tiny high arched size 5 feet without tearing up my feet's thin skin, like many other shoes do.
Since I wasn't sure how they'd fit, and returns were not accepted due to the deep discounts, I chose clear. Pigs flew, because for the first time in my adult life, a shoe that wasn't athletic fit great and looked nice.
Since prices fell even more after that, I felt the need to buy a pair in most other colors. I now have a great shoe collection, even though they're plastic and retro from the 1980s, when I saw them sold in bins at the front of supermarkets.
Los Angeles Apparel, please sell the simple canvas sneakers once again, size 5 too! I paid $3 plus tax at one of the closing American Apparel stores for one pair, and wish that I'd bought more, because although it took a while to break them in, they were very walkable and appropriate for the gym.
Now that the gyms are closed where I live, all I can do for exercise is walking around.
However, after so much walking in them, they cracked in the heels.
I would like to be able to replace those sneakers with the same size and type.
